BIOGRAPHY

Adv. Avital Zer-Sincai is a partner in Shenhav, Konforti, Rotem & Co. and heads the firm’s High-Tech and intellectual property (IP) practice.

Avital is best known for her familiarity and understanding of the Israeli High-Tech scene and for her ability to understand entrepreneurs’ needs right from the very beginning in their pre-seed stage.

Avital is experienced in all sorts of financing techniques including Capital Investment and complicated Loan mechanisms, including M&A transactions and tries to find the financial solutions that best fit her clients’ nature of business all the way towards their potential ‘Exit’.

As part of her Up-To-Date approach, Avital monitors new technological developments released to the market, in order to provide her clients with updated and relevant advice to meet their needs at all times.

As an expert in intellectual property legal matters (patents, designs, trademarks, copyright etc.) Avital also assists clients in creating the terms required to safely operate in the complex field of R&D and the cybernetic space, including, among others, websites, new media platforms, cellular applications and social networks.

In addition, Avital is the Intellectual Property Manager of SNE Rosetta IP, which was nominated by the Government to manage and commercialize all colleges in Israel and as such, Avital is in charge of managing all the Intellectual Property (patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights and more) generated by the colleges and for their commercial transactions which utilize the full extent of their intangible assets’ economic value.
Avital is well versed in database registration, security privacy policies and related data security compliance and privacy counseling. As part of her combined expertise in Data Privacy, Avital advises on in internet law and assists in creating the terms required to safely operate in the cybernetic space, including, among others, websites, new media platforms, cellular applications and social networks.

Avital conducts seminars on Intellectual Property and Data Privacy for clients and members of the public and is a member of the Intellectual Property Department of the Israeli Bar Association.
Avital has published several articles in newspapers and magazines in the technology and intellectual property field.

Avital was an intern at S. Friedman & Co, joined the firm as an associate in 2005 and became a partner in 2011.
