BIOGRAPHY

Adv. Omry Rotem is a senior partner in SKR & Co. and is the establisher and head of the firm’s northern branch.

Adv. Rotem specializes in a variety of subjects related to Commercial Law and especially in complicated M&A transactions in the Kibbutzim & Moshavim sector and in the Renewable Energy sector. Using this specialty he is a counsel to many renewable energy projects which made him a known and respected attorney in that field. His qualifications spans from wind and solar energy to pumped storage hydroelectricity.

Adv. Rotem is experienced in representing clients from the agricultural business and industrial sectors. Among his clients are the most known and leading Kibbutzim companies, cooperatives, Kibbutzim & Moshavim and companies of the agricultural settlements.

Among others, Adv. Rotem advices his client in complicated M&A transactions, establishment and representation in all phases of business ventures and regular day to day business conduct.

Using his savviness in all aspects of Commercial Law, adv. Rotem is able to give quality and professional legal and business advice to his companies of the rural sectors which best fits their needs and business characteristics.

Born and Raised in a Kibbutz, adv. Rotem is still a part of the Israeli agricultural society and therefore familiarized with its special characteristics. During the years, adv. Rotem took upon himself numerous duties which enhanced his understanding of the economic and business issues of Kibbutzim & Moshavim industries.

or 5 years, uo to July 2017′ served Adv. Rotem as chairman of the financial board and business development manager of Kibbutz Shmair. He is currently serving as an Active chairman of Shamir Optical Industries – an international company, traded in past in NASDAQ, and today held equally by Kibbutz Shamir and the optical giant EssilorLuxottica. In addition, adv. Rotem is a part of the board of directors of the corporation of Kibbutzim agricultural settlements which serves as the holdings company to the main commercial activities in the Kibbutzim sectors. Adv. Rotem is a chairman and a member of board of directors in a verity of companies of different areas.
